About Our School
As one of six schools within the Ball-Chatham School District, Ball Elementary School serves grades Pre-K through 4th. Regular education classrooms are self-contained with an average of 22 students per classroom. BES also serves all Pre-K and Early Childhood programs for the Ball-Chatham School District, which annually enrolls approximately 125 students in five morning, and five afternoon sections.
With input from teachers, building administrators place students in classrooms according to their individual needs in order to maximize the potential of each child and to create balanced positive classroom environments. BES has special education programs available for all students who qualify for services. Students in the regular education program may be provided with support from our reading interventionists when reading assessments indicate interventions are needed to increase reading skills.
